A New Year!

With the recession in recession (they say), I am hopeful you find yourself well. Things here at the Media FX Group are going swimmingly! 2009 was a successful year and 2010 looks to be even more-so. Here is a synopsis...

Our website development team has taken their craft to new levels this year. Just a few of our achievements include, developing new multi-upload features on Health Arts and creating a French version of the website called “Samsante” with Emerge Interactive. We re-launched the Canadian Critical Care Conference for Zena Davidson, Legion Legacies with Creative Way, and the Provincial Outreach for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders website. We also partnered to develop a new video resume website www.resumevideovault.com and another for Pharma and Biotech partnering website (waiting in the wings to be strategically launched on Feb. 1, 2010). Steve Dotto’s new website as well as a new social network for the Canadian Skin Patient Alliance and an all new Celebrities Nightclub website will be unveiled shortly too!

On the event/digital signage content development side, we were proud to be involved in the creative for the 2009 Junos with Evolution, BC Technical Industry Association’s awards (with Evolution), A&W’s conference in Hawaii (with Emerge Interactive) and the BCIT Alumni Awards. Scott Johnson Creative has also partnered with our team to create content for MTS communications. The Moment Factory and Media FX Group put on a spectacular event for Browns Shoes earlier this year. Come Olympics time we hope to work with our Moment Factory friends again on the La Maison du Quebec.

We have started working on a 16 LCD video wall for BC Ferries new travel/sales foyer across the street from the new Vancouver Convention Center. Acumen Engineering with Pro Sound are delivering the hardware/installation coordination, Burnkit the interactive, and the Media FX Group the multi-screen video wall content development. We also plan to be a big part of new The Royal Canadian Legion Gala night at the Sheraton Wall Center, and the BCTIA’s Technology Awards for the 6th consecutive year in May/June with Evolution.

All the best,
